Remittance Advice Message

Issued with the weekly remittance advice (RA), RA messages are the Department of Health and Social Services' official mode of communication with Alaska Medicaid providers. RA messages are issued to notify providers of important information, such as:

• Proposed and adopted regulations
• Public hearings
• Changes in billing procedures or policy
• Documentation requirements
• Changes in covered and/or allowable codes
• Provider training schedules
• Office closures

Alaska Medicaid Provider Training

Through its fiscal agent, Conduent, Alaska Medicaid offers a wide variety of training that covers all aspects of participation in the Medicaid program as well as any recent changes in Medicaid policies and procedures.

All provider training is free of charge. Training schedules are available on the Alaska Medicaid Learning Portal
